Traffic Control: Volunteering for an 100 Mile Endurance Race

A few weekends ago A & I volunteered in Leadville [Colorado] at a 100 mile endurance trail run/race. It was fun (mostly) and would have been even more fun if we weren’t stuck on the crappy (but very important to the runner’s safety) job of traffic control. A got the better end of the deal since he was at the intersection of the trail head and the road; I was just on the road opposite him and forever walking further and further away from the course. Sigh. Oh well. Here are some pictures from the weekend!
