Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park, Colorado. President’s Day weekend

We did an overnight in Estes Park the Sunday into Monday of President’s Day weekend. It was the best time to celebrate our anniversary (4 years!) before a lot of crazy life events began happening (but we were/still are anticipating). Here are a few pictures from the trip:

While there, we stayed in a wonderful condo owned by the Riverstone Company. There was a large Jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom, a separate shower in the main bathroom, a full kitchen, deck with grill, living/dining room and a loft with two more beds and a bathroom if we has more than the two of us staying. We cooked our own meal for dinner and breakfast and brought PB & J and snacks for  lunches. It was a very inexpensive trip and so wonderful.

There are about 8 days through out the year that the National Park Service (NPS) offers free admission. We have the annual pass since we seem to go a lot already (and it pays for itself in 4 visits to any National Park). You can find out the free days here.
