I bought a new pair of running shoes via Amazon recently. My old shoes are getting to the end of their ‘recommended’ life and I have been itching to get back out there. Not yet though. I am still in physical therapy (and had a bad week) but I have come to the conclusion that I will not be pushing myself to run a half this year. I’ve learned a lot in being injured. Right now, I am going to focus on training for a 5k. If that goes well, I will look into a 10k and only if the 10k goes well, then I will see about picking a late-year half marathon. We shall see.
